Three Ways to Support Students This Holiday Season!

‘Tis the season to celebrate and give back!

The American Experience Foundation (AEF) is dedicated to inspiring, training, and educating DC public high school students about the hospitality and tourism industry. AEF provides experiential learning opportunities for students to get involved with industry professionals and executives to prepare them for college and career success.

This holiday season, here are three ways to get involved with AEF and support growth opportunities for students:

  1.  Buy tickets for the Experience DC Holiday Raffle!
    • Purchase tickets for a chance to win one of our wonderful prize packages that represents the best of the DMV, from luxury staycations to year-round family fun!

  2. Vote for your favorite Gingerbread Display
    • On Dec. 3, the Academies of Culinary Arts at Ballou and Roosevelt High School competed to create the best Gingerbread Display of DC-themed locations at the Willard InterContinental. Help decide our audience winner. Vote Now!

  3. Have a ginger-themed drink at the Willard InterContinental
    • Take a trip to see the striking display of holiday décor and musical fanfare at the Willard InterContinental. Enjoy a cozy ginger-themed mocktail or cocktail at the hotel bar. Proceeds from each drink go directly to AEF. Get there before January 3!
